Senior PeopleSoft HCM Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level PeopleSoft HCM Consultant to lead the analysis, design, and automation of complex HCM processes within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate combines deep functional knowledge of PeopleSoft with strong technical expertise and a consultative mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing PeopleSoft HCM business processes.
• Identify automation opportunities using native PeopleSoft functionality.
• Define automation requirements, dependencies, and effort estimates.
• Develop detailed automation plans covering scope, approach, timelines, tools, and assumptions.
• Create clear technical documentation for governance and decision‑making.
• Establish repeatable documentation and planning approaches based on stakeholder feedback.
• Support prioritization and planning of automation initiatives.
• Design and implement PeopleSoft configuration and automation solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a PeopleSoft HCM Consultant with strong hands‑on technical and functional expertise.
• Proven experience delivering PeopleSoft HCM implementations in complex enterprise settings.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and communicate recommendations to both technical and business audiences.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Required skills

• PeopleSoft HCM modules (Payroll, Health & Welfare, Benefits).
• PeopleTools development and configuration.
• Automation design within PeopleSoft environments.
• Technical documentation and process mapping.
• Experience with AI/Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude for analysis and documentation.
