Senior AQA Engineer – .NET & Playwright

About the role

N-iX is looking for a Senior AQA Engineer to ensure the quality of its innovative Applicant Tracking System for the US market. You will combine manual testing expertise with automated testing using JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright to deliver reliable, high‑performance software.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of new features and validate user experience.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve defects.
• Develop, run, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright.
• Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and quality.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report progress.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of manual testing experience on web‑based applications.
• Proven experience with Playwright and JavaScript or .NET for automation.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with SOAPUI, Postman or WebInject for API testing.
• SQL query skills for backend data validation.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
