Regional Business Development Lead – Stablecoin Payments

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Business Development Lead to drive adoption of our stablecoin payment infrastructure across merchants and payment service providers in a defined market. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, build local acceptance, and feed market insights back to product.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close partnerships with acquirers, aggregators, PSPs, POS providers and direct merchants.
• Negotiate commercial terms and multi‑year contracts for stablecoin pay‑in/pay‑out solutions.
• Structure and launch scan‑to‑pay acceptance, coordinating legal and compliance for licensing and settlement.
• Design activation campaigns, incentives and retention programs to generate transaction volume.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance and marketing to turn market requirements into shipped features.
• Provide commercial advisory input to key accounts and relay feedback to the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in payments, merchant acquiring, PSP or aggregator environments with demonstrable closed deals.
• Proven ability to run commercial strategy independently from pipeline generation to contract signing.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially for multi‑year enterprise agreements.
• Practical knowledge of payment rails, QR standards and acquiring models in your market.
• Professional English and fluency in the local market language.
• Willingness to travel as required.
