Purchase to Pay Finance Analyst (Fixed‑Term Project)

About the role

The Purchase to Pay Finance Analyst supports internal customers and external suppliers for BASF plants in the Americas. The position is a fixed‑term, project‑based role with a guaranteed minimum duration of six months, based in the Montevideo hub.

Key responsibilities

• Review, post and reconcile invoices and credit notes, with or without purchase orders.
• Manage payment processing for BASF plants across the serviced regions.
• Provide first‑line support to internal clients and handle supplier inquiries or complaints according to BASF, FRC and local legal policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting, maintain key performance indicators, and resolve balance discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
