Procurement Operations Analyst

About the role

Join Syngenta’s Procurement Operations team in Montevideo to support the end‑to‑end buying process. You will act as a key liaison between internal requestors and external suppliers, ensuring smooth purchase requisition, order creation, and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Handle purchase requisition, purchase order, and supplier queries via ServiceNow.
• Provide guidance on using Syngenta’s Ariba buying platform.
• Maintain and update Syngenta Supplier Master Data.
• Document country‑specific requirements and coordinate with regional requestors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address country‑specific needs.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing for system migrations, new implementations, and enhancements.
• Prioritise issues and drive timely resolution following established policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in customer service, payable accounts, procurement, or P2P/S2P/I2P operations within a multinational environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a strong plus.
• Self‑motivated with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Analytical, proactive problem‑solver comfortable with ambiguity.
• Interest in AI technologies and leveraging them for process optimisation.
