IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

Join the talent pool of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to become an IT Office Support Consultant. You will provide end‑user IT assistance to IDB personnel across multiple offices in Latin America and the Caribbean, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and connectivity tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line IT support to staff, covering hardware, software, networking, and training needs.
• Provision, configure, and maintain standard workstations throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with IT infrastructure upkeep, including networking, telecommunications, security systems, and coordination with local service providers.
• Collaborate on new IT initiatives and act as a liaison between IT teams and business units.
• Document incidents, service requests, and updates in ticketing systems and related dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related fields.
• Proficiency in English and one additional official IDB language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Experience with customer support activities; project‑management knowledge (PMI) is a plus.
