Automation Framework Architect

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Framework Architect to design and own a next‑generation test automation ecosystem. This senior‑level position sits at the intersection of automation architecture, AI, and platform engineering, driving faster and more reliable software delivery in document‑heavy, compliance‑driven environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright (primary) and Selenium (legacy).
• Integrate automation into Azure DevOps pipelines, test plans, and traceability mechanisms.
• Design AI‑driven testing solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Document Intelligence, and Claude for test generation, execution, and reporting.
• Build reusable API testing frameworks with Postman, GraphQL, and PactumJS.
• Enable CI/CD orchestration, reporting, and quality insights across the organization.
• Implement logging, observability, and failure‑analytics capabilities.
• Support document‑heavy workflows such as compliance checks, disclosures, and OCR validation.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks at scale.
• Deep understanding of AI‑driven testing approaches.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Azure DevOps.
• Background working with distributed systems and complex integrations.
• Architect‑level thinking: ability to define strategy, not just implement solutions.
